Rhino Exercise
I met some problems when using Blender to open the file downloaded from Mixamo, not sure why.
And I cannot import the T-pose idle model into Lens Studio either.
Update: repeat everything including naming my model with v-start (as Blender sorts everything in alphabetical order), and it worked out.
I used my fav fur material again.
Final Project Proposal
As my whole body is filled with thoughts of “how could I escape from Shanghai without being noticed by the residency committee/ guards at my compound gate/ police on the streets\” and cannot really come up with other ideas, I want to make a “invisible cloak” that could help people hide - I am imagining it to be a clothes composed of transparent bubble, which will help the human being stay inside to hide with light refraction. I’m not very sure about the interaction for now, but changing the reflection (color, pattern proximity) based on the position/light source of the clothes is a feasible plan.
The texture of the bubble below is an ideal situation.
For the technical implementation, it seems that Grasshopper + (Blender) + LensStudio would be a good combination. I think the exercise for this week could work as a base of what I’m envisioning.
